Awards

We pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service to all of our clients and, in 2017, ACtest won ‘Best Contractor Award’ for excellent service to clients by Rynew Property Management Ltd.  It was an amazing feeling to be recognised for our efforts and we were delighted to receive the stunning award.

We know that having to think about electrics is not everyone’s idea of fun, so let ACtest take the electrical strain by allowing us to help you.

We understand the type of electrical issues you face – whether it is commercial or domestic – and we offer a full range of electrical services.  There are many scenarios in which you may find yourself where we can help you; for example, perhaps you need to provide certification for the condition of your electrical system and need an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR).  Maybe you would like some electrical improvements or repairs carried out?   You might be interested in purchasing an exciting new property; in which case, it is always advisable to have the fixed wiring checked out by having an Electrical Installation Condition Report, before you buy if possible, to check on the condition of your electrical system, because even the loveliest of properties can harbour hidden dangers.  Please remember, just because something is working, does not always mean that it is safe to use!

You may even work in a school and the local fire officer has anxiously pointed out that your emergency lighting is inadequate or you have been instructed to have PAT testing carried out.  Or, are you considering LED lighting as you have had enough of dimly lit, flickering fluorescent tubes which keep blowing? Perhaps you wish to have RCD protection installed to help protect from dangerous electrical situations.  RCDs are devices designed to isolate the electricity to the fault area quickly and offer a level of personal protection that ordinary fuses and circuit-breakers cannot provide.
